Functional Foot Orthotics or Insoles are devices contoured to your feet and are used to prevent abnormal motion and position of the foot, but also lower limb joints and spine. They can be premanufactured or tailormade for an individual by using variety of different materials, finishes and trims.
Ankle Foot Orthoses (AFO's) are devices fitted to the body to help prevent or improve deformity, stabilise joints, improve mobility and prevent risk of injury.
Often used in Neurological conditions such as Stroke, Cerebral Palsy and Multiple Sclerosis.
It may be a premanufactured device or tailormade for an individual using a variety of materials and finishes.

I obtained a B.Tech Degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics (Cum Laude) from Tshwane University Of Technology, Pretoria South Africa.
I completed my internship and first year as qualified practitioner in Ermelo Provincial Hospital before moving to Ireland in 2007 to further my career
After relocating to Ireland in 2007 I, worked for a Private Orthotics Firm who provided contracted Orthotic Services to the Irish Health Service Executive.
In 2011 I relocated to UK and have since worked (and continue to) for Various Orthotic Companies who are contracted to provide Orthotic Services to the NHS.
I have been privileged with highly talented individuals in various clinic settings including Paediatric, Neuro, Orthopaedic, Rheumatology and Diabetic.
I now provide a part-time private home visit service.
